We believe With the knowledge that most investors cannot sacrifice the losses in their portfolios again, our financial professionals work closely with each client to design a portfolio of investments that allows them to match their risk tolerance. We work closely with clients to help them obtain their objectives, and match a product that can help them get the most out of their portfolio in the most tax efficient manner. This process revolves around risk tolerance, coupled with a customized portfolio designed to achieve long and short-term goals. Making the decision to plan is only the first step individuals and businesses must take to help achieve financial independence. We have taken the necessary steps to monitor your investment plan by developing an investment management system. In selecting money managers for client accounts, we use the following due diligence screens:
Once an appropriate fund has been chosen, Adcock Financial performs quarterly reviews to continue monitoring clients' investments. We can then make recommendations to replace funds that cannot help accomplish the clients' objetives. Adcock Financial has aligned itself with some of the top companies and managers in the industry, allowing you to choose from various funds and fund managers needed to compile the portfolio you have selected in an effort to gain financial independence. Some of our financial professionals who are registered with NFP Securities as Investment Advisers and/or Registered Representatives are able to provide the following products and services:
Alternative investments, including hedged funds, involve a high degree of risk, often engage in leveraging and other speculative investment practices that may increase the risk of investment loss, can be highly illiquid, are not required to provide periodic pricing or valuation information to investors, may involve complex tax structures and delays in distributing important tax information, are not subject to the same regulatory requirements as mutual funds, often charge high fees which may offset any trading profits, and in many cases the underlying investments are not transparent and are know only to the investment manager. An investor could lose all or a substantial amount of his or her investment. Often, hedge fund account managers have total trading authority over their funds or accounts; the use of a single advisor applying generally similar trading programs cold mean lack of diversification and, consequently higher risk. There is often no secondary market for an investor’s interest in alternative investments, including hedge funds, and none is expected to develop. There may be restrictions on transferring interests in any alternative investment. Alternative investment products, including hedge funds, often execute a substantial portion of their trades on non-U.S. exchanges. Investing in foreign markets may entail risks that differ from those associated with investments in U.S. markets. Additionally, alternative investments, including hedge funds, often entail commodity trading, which involves substantial risk of loss.
Real estate investing (REITS) involves risks such as refinancing, in the real estate industry, interest rate risk, lease terminations, and potential economic and regulatory changes. The value of the shares in the trust will fluctuate with the portfolio of the underlying real estate related investments. There can be no assurance that a secondary market for the REIT will be maintained by the issuer. The investment may be illiquid. Redemption price of a REIT may be worth more or less than the original price paid for units of the trust.
Diversification does not guarantee against loss. It is a method used to help investment risk.
