Johnny Adcock

Johnny's primary focus is on Estate Planning for high net worth clients. He is a member of the American Society of Charter Life Underwriters (CLU), an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) and a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with NFP Securities, Inc.

He has been a member of The Society of Financial Service Professionals since 1972. He is also a member of the International Forum since 1998 and served as President in 2003.

Johnny is a member of many industry advisory boards, including the ING-Security Life Advisory Board, and the AXA Equitable Advisory Board. Johnny is also a member of AALU serving on the Estate Planning and Business Insurance Committees.

Johnny is equally active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors at Bay Cities Bank, member of the Foundation of St. Joseph's Hospital Board, and member of Avila Golf & Country Club. Past involvements include Chairman of Northside Bank of Tampa Board, Chairman of the Tampa Sports Authority, member of the Advisory Board of Auburn University School of Business, President of the Tampa Chapter of the National Football Foundation, and member of The Executive Committee (TEC).

Johnny is a graduate of Leadership Tampa and Leadership Tampa Bay. Johnny was presented the J. Rex Farrior Citizen of the Year Award in 1989. Johnny graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Business Administration. He and his wife Susan have been married for 45 years, and they have three sons and eight grandchildren. Along with spending time with their family and many friends, Johnny and Susan are active in Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church.

Executive Vice President

Brian Adcock

Brian Adcock graduated from Auburn University in 1996 with a BS in Marketing Education and joined Adcock Financial Group. Since that time he runs two divisions of Adcock Financial as a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with NFP Securities, Inc.

Brian directs the Wealth & Income Planning Division, which works to create customized financial and investment planning for high net worth individuals centered around their core beliefs and goals. Brian also leads the Retirement Plan Division, where he and his team work with small to mid-size businesses in implementing and monitoring retirement plans. Here Brian and his team work as an extension of the HR department to provide some of the fiduciary oversight requirements and equally as important work to provide the education of individual participants to help them make informed decision around their retirement plan experience.

Brian and his wife Amanda have been married for over ten years and are proud parents of two sons and a daughter. They both enjoy spending time with their family and being involved with their church, Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church. Brian serves on the Staff Parish Committee of the church and helps run the sports ministry there. He is also involved in other organizations such as Hope Children's Home and the Hillsborough Education Foundation. He was recently featured in an article in Boomer Magazine.

Deborah Bradnick

Debbie has been integral to Adcock Financial Group for 26 years, managing all aspects of the employee benefits component of the business.

Her depth of knowledge and breadth of experience are a rare combination that the firm's clients and providers can both rely on. Debbie enjoys gardening and golf and spending time with friends and family.

This is my fifth year with the company. AFG has provided an environment in which I can fully focus on serving the needs of our employee benefits clients, as well as being a resource for others in our group benefits department. - Lenny

Employee Benefits Consultant

Lenny Chew

Lenny brings nearly three decades of insurance industry experience to Adcock Financial Group clients. For more than two decades he has designed employee benefit plans for small to mid-sized companies, having spent 16 years with a national employee benefits consulting firm, and since Sept 2006 as a key member of the Adcock team.

Lenny holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida as well as a master's degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a longtime Florida resident and settled in the Tampa Bay area in 1984. He is married 21 years to his wife Cheryl and has three daughter.

I have been with Adcock Financial Group since 1982 and have seen the company grow from 2 employees to 18 employees. I have seen lots of changes, but one thing that has never changed is our commitment to serving our clients and always looking for creative and effective ways to help our clients assets grow.  I believe we provide a service that is second to none and I am proud to be a part of the Adcock family business. – Jane

Jane Lowry

Jane Lowry brings over 27 years of experience at Adcock Financial in the design of insurance and estate plans for both individuals and small to medium-size businesses. Jane also provides advanced case design to corporate executives.

As a native of the Tampa Bay area, Jane coordinates the day-to-day operations of Adcock Financial, helping our firm provide the best service possible to our clients. Jane is a delight to work with and brings extensive knowledge to product and plan design.

I am proud to be a part of Adcock Financial. Adcock Financial is a small family owned business who cares about their clients as well as the people that work for them. Adcock Financial not only wants their clients to be successful but they also want their employees to be successful. Jennifer Miley

Jennifer Miley brings over 23 years of experience at Adcock Financial, assisting clients in the areas of insurance underwriting as well as processing new business. Jennifer is the first point of service for our insurance clients. Her experience and relationships with the underwriters at most of the major insurance companies helps our clients navigate the often complex insurance underwriting arena.

Jennifer’s efforts enable us to deliver competitive offers among the matrix of top insurance companies, ensuring our clients have access to the insurance products that fit their needs appropriately.

I’ve worked at Adcock Financial since 2000. I enjoy the fact that we work to make a difference in clients’ lives. We take pride in knowing our clients personally and delivering a customized financial planning experience for each client. Investment Client Relationship Manager

Jenni Smith

Jenni Smith is the Director of Investment Services and the day-to-day contact for investment and financial planning clients. Her primary responsibility is to direct our investment service activities, including the set up of new client accounts, investment transfers and providing tax information (such as 1099's, K-1s and gain/loss reports).

She works with Brian to continuously monitor accounts and financial plans and is involved with the on-going service of clients’ accounts. You will find Jenni to be very friendly and helpful.

Retirement Services Coordinator

Melissa Oakes

Melissa Oakes is the first point of service in our qualified retirement plan department and is the day-to-day contact for plan sponsors and their HR departments. Melissa is dedicated to the plan design, implementation and ongoing oversight of plan investments for the successful operation of a retirement plan.

She’s dedicated to helping meet client expectations by keeping them informed of legislative changes, monitoring plan fees and pricing competitiveness and helps plan sponsors take the necessary steps to meet their on-going fiduciary responsibilities. Melissa is bright and professional and an invaluable part of our team.

Michele Green

Michele Greene joined the Adcock team with 20 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Michele Green helps maintain the day-to-day operations of the office as well as assist with insurance planning and general inquiries for our clients. Michele also helps coordinate our marketing efforts.

In my five years working at Adcock Financial, I have been given countless opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. What sets Adcock Financial apart are the many opportunities to increase both my technical knowledge as well as provide invaluable chances to network with my peers to share “best of breed” ideas that will benefit our clients. Advanced Case Design

Jeremy Sims

Jeremy Sims provides both individuals and businesses with support in the design of complex plans with an emphasis in estate planning and insurance planning.

Jeremy also brings experience working with clients in the design of Executive Benefit plans to help companies recruit, reward and retain executives with tax-favored plans today and at retirement. He also has experience in the design of Deferred Compensation Plans and has a strong interest in the area of Business Exit Planning. Jeremy is very bright and creative in the work he does for our clients.

The people at Adcock Financial are definitely the company’s greatest asset. I cannot think of a better group of people to work with. I feel it is my job to make every important aspect of our client's experience a little better. I use a personalized approach to provide guidance in helping them achieve their retirement goals. Kristin Hayes

Kristin Hayes is our Director of Employee Education for our retirement plan division. Her primary responsibility is to work with participants of our qualified plan clients to help them to be more successful in the planning for their retirement.  She creates individualized solutions centered on meeting the education needs of plan participants.

She plays a vital role in working with employees both face-to-face and in group settings to provide them with the guidance and education to make informed decisions with their employer sponsored retirement plans. Kristin works with plan participants and new enrollees using a personalized approach to bring greater knowledge and understanding of the role retirement plans play in a successful planning experience.

In having known the Adcock family and the team within the office both personally and professionally for many years, I feel very fortunate to be part of such a wonderful organization.  With more than 17 years of experience, I look forward to the opportunity to continue helping corporate clients and individuals achieve their financial goals. – Karl

Chief Retirement Officer

Karl Herrmann

Karl joined Adcock Financial Group in October of 2011 and is responsible for providing consulting and advisory services to plan sponsors and their participants.  Karl has over 17 years experience in employee benefits, including 15 years in ERISA qualified plans.  Prior to joining Adcock Financial Group, Karl held a position with Fidelity Investments, where he served as Vice President and Retirement Specialist covering the Southeast United States.  While at Fidelity, Karl had a successful record in working with plan sponsors and business owners to better understand how to maximize their employee benefits and plan design, as well as building communication and education strategies for plan participants. Karl has also held specialist roles with Principal Financial Group as the Director of Sales, John Alden Health and John Hancock Financial Services.

Securities Licenses Held:  Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative), Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and the Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam).

Karl resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife and two children and is a graduate of The Florida State University.

I really like working at the Adcock “Family” Financial Group because we really do seem like family. We all work hard and we all play just as hard getting together for activities during work day and some after. Alice Rick

Alice Rick is our team leader in the area of sales and service of employee benefits for our health and welfare division. She brings a diverse background in the health insurance industry that helps her in working with our clients in the day to day service, claims issues, quote requests and the annual renewal process.

Alice is also charged with special projects that help deliver solutions to our clients and achieve specific benefit administrative goals. Alice has an infectious joy for life and is a pleasure to work with.

In the past four years that I have been with Adcock Financial, I am amazed at how much I personally have learned. I find that I am quite impressed by the caliber of my co- workers on a professional and personal level.
